Our Name
The brand logo, a stylized smiling frog, is derived from a line in a universal Latin nursery rhyme, “sana, sana, colita de rana,” which translates into English “heal, heal, little frog’s tail.” Caregivers repeat these words to comfort children in times of illness of injury. This expresión reflects the tradition of the región and conveys protection and care in health challenges.
For us, the Spanish Word “sanar” not only means to heal physically, but also refers to preventive and emotional healing. By repeating twice the imperative “sana sana,” we affirm that our goal is to help our members enjoy a truly healthy life.
The Sana Sana tagline is “Taking care of yourself today ensures a healthy tomorrow.” The purpose of our company is to help program members enjoy a healthy life longer.
The program philosophy is that as we care for ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, we will enjoy a longer “health span.”
